It looks like Sony decided to share some more details about Little Big Planet’s GOTY edition! Information on the US$ 30 worth of DLC that’s found on-disc is revealed, bonus features, and a trailer inside!
First, the DLC. It’ll include seven different content packs:
*Metal Gear Solid Level Pack featuring the Paintinator paintball gun
*Metal Gear Solid Costumes
*Monsters Costumes
*Monsters Pack
*History Costumes
*History Pack
*Animals Costumes
Media Molecule has also hand-picked 18 people to create user-generated levels to give newcomers a taste of what the LBP community has to offer.
Finally, those who spring for the GotY edition will have a chance to get beta access to ModNation Racers, the next game under Sony’s “Play, Create, Share” umbrella. A limited supply of the LBP GotY editions will include a voucher code for ModNation Racers’ online beta.
So that’s seven free content packs, 18 extra user-created levels, and a chance to join the ModNation Racers beta. Sounds like a good deal for those who haven’t tried out LittleBigPlanet yet.
